Resthaven Information days in Onkaparinga

On Wednesday 7 June 2017, Resthaven Onkaparinga Community Services are holding a free information day, which aims at ‘Helping you through the maze of aged care services’.

The session, held from 10am to 2.30pm, will feature:

• guest speakers from Agedcare Alternatives (an aged care information provider); SAPOL, who will speak about keeping safe at home; and Haagan Van Dyke, a financial adviser and accredited aged care professional
• information sessions, including ‘an introduction to community services’; ‘independent living: equipment and you’; and ‘accessing community services through Resthaven’
• activities including blood pressure and glucose testing, and hand massages

Morning tea will be provided.

You will also be able to book a one-on-one consult with a Community Services Coordinator, to assist you in assessing your needs.
