Gold Coast Seniors Invited To a Free Concert This Christmas

On Friday 13 December HillView Aged Care is holding a free Christmas concert to combat loneliness in the Gold Coast senior community.

While Christmas is traditionally a time of family and festive celebrations, it can be a difficult time for people experiencing loneliness, especially for seniors who may not have close loved ones around.

For this reason, HillView is reaching out the Gold Coast community to invite those in need of company to a free Seniors Christmas Concert. The community are invited to come along for live music, nibbles, soft drinks, and most importantly, warm company to brighten the festive season. 

“Helping our community elders is our passion” said General Manager Shelley Scorrano, “we don’t like to think we have people living close to us that are in need of company over Christmas, but instead, are at home feeling isolated.” She continued, “We are planning to have similar events to this throughout next year as well, to help combat loneliness throughout the year.”
