The Regent: Providing Leading Aged Care in Mount Waverley

The Regent is the brand new, purpose-built residential aged care home from Calvary Health Care. Situated in Mount Waverley, the home offers 105 private single rooms for aged care residents. All rooms have access to their own private ensuite and are available in a variety of styles and sizes, ranging from superior rooms with luxury interiors through to spacious platinum suites with private balconies.

The development is also home to a wide selection of features and amenities, including:

The Regent will also house a secure dementia unit, accommodating up to 14 residents with more advance daily care requirements.

With the need for aged care services in Victoria forecast to rise, The Regent is set to be a welcome addition to the Mount Waverley community.

General Manager of Real Estate, Sam Snaddon, believes the new home will be a much-needed asset to the residents of Mount Waverley and its surrounding areas.

“Information from the Department of Health indicates that Mount Waverley is currently undersupplied by 160 operational beds in the aged care field,” he explains. “Further research suggests that by 2021 this shortfall is set to increase to 177, therefore, the additional beds and high-quality aged care services we can offer at The Regent will provide a vital resource within the local community.”
