Bethanie, Western Australia’s leading not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider confirms it has completed the acquisition of the Berrington residential aged care portfolio which includes two facilities in Perth - a 99-bed home in Como and a 112-bed home in Subiaco.
Completing the acquisition provides certainty of care for Berrington residents and families, ongoing employment for Berrington employees and the opportunity for Bethanie to care for more West Australian seniors.
Bethanie CEO Chris How comments, “We are excited to include the Como and Subiaco homes in our growing business portfolio in Western Australia. These premium facilities will complement and expand our service offering whilst fulfilling our mission to deliver the highest standard of care to the aged care community.”
The homes will now be known as Bethanie Como and Bethanie Subiaco.
Chris adds, “From our humble beginnings of supporting seven residents, to now caring for over 4,500 West Australians, we would like to welcome all residents, families and employees to the Bethanie family.”
KPMG were appointed administrators of Berrington’s business operations in July 2019.
