‘Men on the Move’ Go Racing

on Wednesday, October 14, 2020

The Resthaven Marion Community Services ‘Men on the Move’ Social Group recently lived up to their name, visiting the Bend Motorsport Park for a day of hot laps!

Coordinator, Susan-Jane Billing, says, "The gents were delighted to visit this world-class motorsport facility, located in Tailem Bend, South Australia."

"We enjoyed a tour of the museum, where we all admired the beautiful race cars on display."

"After this, the group were given the very special opportunity to enjoy two hots laps around the international race track, following a pace car."

"One of the men even got to ride in the pace car, cheekily commenting that 'If I was driving the pace car, we would have gone so much faster!'”

Of the experience, clients said it was “Superb, fabulous,” “What an experience,” and “Wow, amazing.”

"It was the first outing for our two newest members, John and Billy, who couldn’t believe how lucky they were to experience such a thrill on their first outing."

"The Men on the Move certainly do get out and about!"

"We look forward to more exciting outings in the future."
