Henny Penny Hatching at Martin Luther Homes

For a second year in a row (and just in time for Easter!), residents at Martin Luther Homes have been taking part in the Henny Penny Hatching program.

Martin Luther Homes aged care residents (and staff) have been able to watch the eggs hatching in a specially designed incubator.

After this, the hatched chicks can be observed at play in a large, clear-sided brooding pen.

The Henny Penny Hatching program is designed to bring a little bit of the country to the city, ensuring everyone can witness the brilliance of Mother Nature.

This is certainly an exciting and special interactive activity, and the baby chicks bring much joy to both staff and residents.
