Regis Lifestyle Employee Gifts Resident an Unexpected Book

Katie, one of Regis Sandgate Lucinda’s passionate Lifestyle employees recently completed her Certificate 4 in Leisure and Lifestyle. Throughout the upskilling course, Katie spent a lot of time with residents and gained a deeper understanding of their social and emotional needs, wants, struggles, obstacles, and goals.

One resident in particular, Neville, spent a lot of time talking, assisting, and encouraging Katie with her assessments and assignments, and together they reminisced and laughed about the adventures Neville managed to get into over his lifetime.

Katie stated that although the course was challenging, having residents available to share their stories and goals made it hugely enjoyable and worth every moment.

As a thank you gift to Neville, Katie presented him with a beautiful storybook of his life she had put together. Neville and his family were delighted with the gift.

This humble and unexpected gift will now be treasured by Neville's family for a long time to come!
