As Catholic Homes gears up for the opening of their newest aged care home, they are filled with excitement to welcome their new staff members who will soon join Sister Mary Glowrey residential aged care.
More than two dozen new employees participated in a lively induction session led by their vivacious Mission leader, Rose Santoro, along with Facility Manager Wade Minett, Wellness Coordinator Caris O'Dea, and other team members.
Catholic Homes feels honoured that so many individuals have chosen a career in aged care with them, and they extend their best wishes to all the new staff members as they embark on this journey.
Facility Manager Wade Minett shared the good news that the residence had received its first accreditation from the Australian Government, which is a testament to the high standards Catholic Homes strives to uphold.
Catholic Homes plans to officially bless their Sister Mary residence in September. They encourage everyone to watch this space for more exciting news as the building nears completion and the residents and staff prepare to move in.
When operational later in 2023, Sister Mary Glowrey Residential Aged Care service, with its relaxed, light-filled, and home-like atmosphere, will cater to all the residents' needs. Catholic Homes has designed the space to make the most of its location, featuring open-air courtyards with covered balconies, tree-lined sensory garden spaces, a wellness centre, staff and meeting/training rooms, and even a coffee bar.
Sister Mary Glowrey will bring modern aged care to the Belmont area and beyond, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable living experience for all.
