Benetas Dalkeith Gardens Caterer Takes Out Restaurant and Catering Award

The catering company providing food for Benetas’ Dalkeith Gardens residents has been honoured with a 2023 National Restaurant and Catering Award for the food served at the Traralgon aged care home.

Contemporary Catering was announced as the winner of the 2023 National Site -Industrial/Institutional Caterer award on Monday, 21 November for the food and services provided to Dalkeith Gardens residents.

For the past six years, Contemporary Catering has provided Dalkeith Gardens residents with a diverse range of cuisines, which are adjusted seasonally to meet nutrition requirements and resident tastes.

Benetas CEO Sandra Hills OAM said the award highlighted Benetas’ commitment to providing residents the highest quality food and ingredients.

“Congratulations to Contemporary Catering for the important service they provide to our residents every day,” Ms Hills said.

“This award highlights the importance of ensuring diverse and great quality food for our aged care residents.”

Contemporary Catering General Manager Operations Colin Roberts said it worked hard to develop a menu in conjunction with residents to ensure choices and preferences were always considered.

“Our menus provide a range of food items to suit the resident demographic of Dalkeith Gardens,” Mr Roberts said.
