Love is love: Arcare Balnarring’s LGBTQI+ Inclusive Valentine’s Lunch

On the 14^th of February, residents at Arcare Balnarring were treated to a lunch date of luxury to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Everyone dressed in their Sunday best for the Silver Service Dining Experience with some residents wearing rainbow bowties.

Champagne, strawberries and chocolates were served on arrival.

The afternoon continued with Valentine’s Day games, followed by lunch and desert.

Steve Vosti, a respite resident, didn’t realise these sorts of things happened in aged care. “It was great to meet new people,” Mr Vosti said.
