Anglicare NT Community Care Alice Springs

Anglicare NT provides programs to assist older people to live at home longer rather than be admitted into long-term residential care.

The Community Home Support Program can assist by providing:

– Domestic assistance such as cleaning and clothes washing
– Personal care assistance
– Support to connect to community activities or assistance with shopping
– Respite care to support carer in their caring role
– Meals on Wheels

The program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50 years and over and older people from the broader population 65 years and over.

Anglicare NT was formed by the Anglican Church in the Northern Territory in response to identified community social needs. From the beginning, services have embraced all Territorians; no one is denied the respect, justice and community of our work.
