McKenzie Aged Care Seabrook was recently presented with an Aged Care Excellence Award by local member for Petrie, Luke Howarth. Mr Howarth established these awards to celebrate and bring to light those aged care providers in the Petrie electorate that have dedicated staff members showing their residents outstanding care and respect.
Not-for-profit aged care provider Fronditha Care will be able to create a flexible and multi-use community centre in Melbourne’s south east, with the help of a $20,000 grant from the Federal Government. The funds will be used to purchase tables, chairs and TV screens and will be fitted in a way that they can be adaptable to the needs of different community groups.
Aged care resident Brian Glover was struck down by a debilitating disease that stopped him from walking.
