A range of Aged and Disability services are available to residents of Coolamon Shire. Allawah Lodge is located on the corner of Stinson and Mirrool Streets, Coolamon. It is currently approved for 33 beds, 10 of which are dedicated for residents with dementia.

Our services included self-care retirement village living, ageing in place support, residential care and respite, home and community care services and community transport.

Our vision is that staff, Committee and volunteers to ensure every resident may reside in a safe home-like environment, where their dignity and privacy is respected, whilst maintaining individual physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs with a minimum of assistance.

We also have a dementia lodge available. This facility was significantly supported by the local Community, Council and a grants from the Federal Government. The Aitken-Logan Wing is a 10 bed low care dementia unit which is attached to the Allawah Lodge.
