Welcome to our aged care community in Macleod
Baptcare Strathalan Community has a proud history in the Macleod community, with the original homestead having been established in 1945. Recently redeveloped, our warm and welcoming community offers a unique blend of heritage and innovation.
At Strathalan, you can make yourself at home. Our community is designed for living, from private, secure personal rooms – which you can decorate to your own taste – to light-filled shared areas. Along with beautiful grounds, we also have an indoor winter garden.

Around-the-clock care
Our community is managed by senior Registered Nurses with years of aged care experience. And we have trained nurses on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We employ experienced nurses as Unit Managers, with each Unit Manager overseeing a specific group of residents. This means that you and your family have a senior staff member who knows you well and provides a consistent point of contact for any questions you may have.
We cater for the changing needs of our residents, which range from lower-level care through to more complex, high-level care requirements. So you can be confident that you will receive the highest standard of care, even as your needs change.

WATTLE ROOM Single room with private ensuite bathroom. Maximum occupancy: 1. Size: approx. 18 m2. Our Wattle rooms are spacious, bright, airy and comfortable. The rooms feature high-quality furniture and fittings, a flat-screen TV, individually controlled air conditioning and hydronic heating, an equipment ceiling track, built-in wardrobes and lockable storage. As a resident here, you are welcome to personalise your room as much or as little as you like. You can hang pictures or photographs on the picture rails provided, use your own quilt from home, and even bring in your favourite easy chair if you wish. Swipe card secure.
