Baptistcare David Buttfield Centre is located in Gwelup, within walking distance of shopping centres and transport. The thriving, modern facility caters to a wide range of residents, including those requiring dementia specific care.
At Baptistcare David Buttfield Centre, residents enjoy a host of lifestyle activities and outings, 24 hour nursing and additional allied health service access, if required. There are lovely manicured gardens, large function rooms for social activities and outdoor BBQ areas to entertain guests.
The tranquil Lake Gwelup offers close-by walking paths, while Gwelup Plaza and Karrinyup Shopping Centre provide access to a wide range of retail and dining options.
A separate wing is dedicated to residents living with dementia, where nurses and staff are highly trained to meet their specific needs. The area has quiet lounges and a secure garden designed to stimulate the senses and encourage outdoor recreation.
Rooms are single with ensuite or double with ensuite. All accommodation include curtains, adjustable beds, reverse cycle air-conditioning, built-in-robes, lockable cupboards, over-bed tables and a chair. Residents are encouraged to adorn their room with personal items to make themselves feel more at home.

SINGLE ROOM Standard Room with private ensuite. David Buttfield Centre has 95 single rooms with private ensuites, including 24 dementia specific beds. All the rooms are in very good condition featuring excellent paint work and floor coverings. Each room features built-in robes, lockable cupboard, chair, adjustable bed, over bed table, and reverse cycle air-conditioning. There is plenty of natural light and there are spacious windows in the ensuites. The majority of our rooms overlook courtyards or larger garden spaces. We can accommodate couples and offer shared rooms at David Buttfield Centre at a reduced rate. Respite rooms are available on request. 14m2.
