In its natural environment surrounded by wetlands, native trees and birdlife, Estia Burton is a serene place to enjoy the finest residential aged care. There are eight accommodation wings, all with lounges overlooking the lake and gardens.

Motel-style rooms open onto private and secure courtyards that have raised garden beds for residents to plant their favourite herbs, veggies and flowers. There are 20 places for residents living with dementia and 80 places altogether. Two of the wings are allocated for specialised care.

Estia Burton provides assistance in the home including nursing care, help with daily living, medication management, continence care and wound management. Allied health services such as physiotherapy and speech therapy are also available. Residents are assessed upon arrival to make sure all their care and lifestyle needs will be met appropriately over the course of their stay.

The lifestyle calendar is organised by two diversional therapists and includes a wide range of activities from community based programs to art lessons. The lounge rooms have turned into vibrant galleries of paintings and sculpture.

Residents are welcome to attend Mass, Rosary or any other religious practice of their choosing. Pastoral care workers pay regular visits to the home to support residents’ spiritual journey.

Residents at all levels of health benefit from the high standard of care reached by Estia Buton. The modern and spacious environment with its generous, open aspect has been the starting ground for innovative programs which enhance resident wellbeing.
