Located in Toronto, nearby to entertainment, leisure and essential services, Fig Tree Point offers comfortable accommodation in a secure and friendly environment.

Through our ageing in place philosophy, we cater for the advancement of a person’s care needs all within a familiar and secure environment. Being an approved Extra Service facility, we are also able to provide additional hotel-type services to enhance our residents’ comfort and lifestyle.

Fig Tree Point combines the benefits of a secure and picturesque living environment where residents can live comfortably knowing that care is always available.

CARE SERVICES

We provide low care services for people who need some assistance with their daily living activities, through to high care services for residents who need around the clock nursing assistance. Our team of compassionate nurses can also provide palliative care and support to the family when required.

Our respite care service offers family and carers the opportunity to take a short break from their care responsibilities. Family can rest assured that their loved one is being well cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

ACCOMMODATION

Our low cost hostel accommodations provide people who need some assistance with their daily living activities with their own private suite and ensuite bathroom. Whilst our high care nursing home provides shared accommodation for people who need increased assistance with their daily living needs.

Our Extra Services accommodations provide for residents with low care and high care needs in a private suite with ensuite bathroom, with the inclusion of additional hotel-type service such as a higher standard of accommodation, increased meal choices and extra lifestyle activities.

LIFESTYLE

Some of the activities we offer include regular social outings for lunches or shopping excursions, exercise programs, concerts, pet therapy, sensory programs, games, movie sessions, arts and crafts, and themed events celebrating special occasions.

Family and friends are always welcome to join their loved one in activities at Fig Tree Point.

A qualified hairdresser visits three days each week and a professional beautician visits our residents five days a week.

Residents are welcome to go on private outings or stay overnight with family and friends. Staff will help residents get ready for these occasions and can arrange transport if required.

MEALS

We pride ourselves on the quality meals we provide to our residents. All meals are freshly prepared on site by our dedicated catering staff and can be enjoyed in a number of dining areas or residents’ suites.

Residents in Extra Services accommodation enjoy a selection of menu options and may have a beer or wine with dinner. We can always cater for residents who may not like seasonal menu options, offering soup, salad or sandwiches if preferred.
