Harbourside Haven Hostels
Harbourside Haven has two low care Hostels with a total of 89 Beds. At Harbourside Haven we provide the highest quality of care to all of our residents. Key Features:

  • 24 hour emergency call service and nursing staff.
  • Bus Service: Regular bus trips to the shops and special trips/outings
  • A craft morning is regularly held in which our residents get to express their creativity
  • Village kiosk
  • Gymnasium: fitness equipment available for the use of residents. Fitness classes are held for residents who wish to keep active
  • Library
  • Hairdressing
  • Podiatry
  • Diversional Therapy
  • Respite

To apply for a place at Harbourside Haven Hostel or Nursing Home an Application form and the Statement of Value of Assets for Residential Aged Care Providers, which is in the “5 Steps to Entry into Residential Aged Care” pack along with a current ACCR from the Aged Care Assessment Team should be submitted to the Main Office at Harbourside Haven, Shoal Bay. An Application pack can either be picked up from the main office or mailed out to you.
 
Harbourside Haven Nursing Home
Our dedicated multidisciplinary team provides the highest quality of care to our residents. We embrace a person centre focus of care and ensure that our residents are treated with respect and that their individuality is recognised. Residents have access to the following services:

  • Dietician
  • Physiotherapy
  • Diversional Therapy

Our enthusiastic Activity Staff are involved in organising outings (wheel chair accessible bus available), concerts and theme days for our resident's enjoyment as well as varied craft and Men's group activities. We are also fortunate enough to have a large volunteer base who assist us with various craft, activities and morning / afternoon tea.

Harbourside Haven Nursing Home staff and management are proud of the community we have created and welcome prospective residents and families to tour our home. An appointment will be necessary.

Bill King Aged Care Facility
Bill King Aged Care Facility is located on our Fingal Haven Site at Fingal Bay. We provide accommodation for High and Low Dementia Specific Residents. At Bill King ACF we provide the highest quality of care to all of our residents.

We regularly have activities run by our qualified Activity Staff.

All residents have access to a pool table, library and exercise equipment. Key features include:

  • 24 hour Registered Nurse coverage.
  • Bus Service: Regular bus trips to the shops as well as special trips/outings
  • A craft morning is regularly held in which our residents get to express their creativity
  • Exercise Classes
  • Library
  • Diversional Therapy
  • Dietician
  • Speech Pathology
  • Podiatry
  • Hairdressing
  • Respite

  • Spam Content: Please no spam. Reviews should be a genuine reflection of your experience with an aged care provider. Do not include promotional content or advertising in any form. Duplicate material will not be accepted.
  • Telephone Numbers and Web Links: To prevent adverts and spam, we do not permit phone numbers or web links.
  • Hate Speech: We do not allow reviews that advocate against people based on their ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or age.
  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing. Alternatively you can submit a complaint via the Government’s Aged Care Complaints Scheme.
