Welcome to Nazareth Residential Aged Care (NazCare)
Our Charter is to provide care and assistance for the aged and age disabled in the community. NazCare is overseen by a Board of Directors under the auspices of the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Woolloongabba, which owns and operates the facility. It is a registered Charitable Organisation.

NazCare is an Ageing in Place facility, consisting of 32 low- and high-care beds. It aims to provide the highest quality in care, which is individually designed to meet the emotional, physical, recreational, spiritual and cultural needs of each resident in a loving Christian environment.

Location and Access to Specialised Services
Nazcare at Woolloongabba, is an inner-city facility, and is ideally located for access by public transport. Our location also provides for an excellent level of access to a range of specialised medical services at the Mater and Princess Alexandra Hospitals and Greenslopes Hospital for the Department of Veteran Affairs.  

Accommodation and Services
NazCare accommodates low- and high-care residential needs in individual rooms with disability en-suites and emergency call systems. Recent upgrades to the facility have provided enhanced capacity to assist the care needs of those most disabled. From time to time, we are able to offer respite care.

All dietary needs are met on-site by catering staff. Fresh produce is prepared and cooked on-site, and is served at the table 7 days a week. All laundering is attended to on-site.

Specialised nursing care is delivered by a stable and dedicated team of Registered Nursing and qualified staff in a pleasant, harmonious atmosphere. Podiatry, physiotherapy, optical, oral, auditory and therapeutic services are available. If required, we provide the highest levels of Palliative Care and Pain Management with compassion, respect and dignity.

Pastoral care and religious Services are provided. Our Lifestyle Program is stimulating and varied.

Family members are encouraged and welcomed at all times, as they are integral to the health and welfare of their loved one. Visitors find the atmosphere at NazCare, and open communication with staff pleasant and reassuring.
