Our Pulkapulkka Kari Flexible Aged Care facility – or PPK, as it is affectionately known – offers a flexible aged care program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and those who are identified as members of the community.
Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure the rooms are light-filled, and all have access to verandas, a garden and grassy areas where you can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, or join the yarning circle.
A newly constructed community room provides a comfortable space to facilitate activities such as cooking, gumnut handicrafts, and exercise or computer skills for residents and community members.
Activities may include going out to collect bush medicine or firewood to cook roo tail, bush turkey, goanna and damper, or art and craft in our airy art room. A bus is available for various outings.
