Reviewing an aged care provider is a great way to share your thoughts. But please follow the policies listed below when writing a review.

We will remove content that violates any of the policies listed below:

  • Conflict of interest: Reviews are most valuable when they are honest and unbiased. Please do not review your own aged care service or that of a competitor.
  • Off-topic reviews: Do not post reviews based on a third party experience, they must be your own. Our reviews are not a forum for general political or social commentary or personal rants.
  • Impersonation: Do not post reviews on behalf of other people or misrepresent your identity or connection with the aged care provider you are reviewing.
  • Language: Do not use offensive, profane, or obscene language. We will remove reviews that represent personal attacks.
  • Personal and confidential information: Do not post reviews that contain the personal and confidential information of another person.
  • Spam Content: Please no spam. Reviews should be a genuine reflection of your experience with an aged care provider. Do not include promotional content or advertising in any form. Duplicate material will not be accepted.
  • Telephone Numbers and Web Links: To prevent adverts and spam, we do not permit phone numbers or web links.
  • Hate Speech: We do not allow reviews that advocate against people based on their ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or age.
  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing. Alternatively you can submit a complaint via the Government’s Aged Care Complaints Scheme.

We were dead against moving into any village originally, all we heard was how much they rip you off, but the truth was as time went on, we had to look to downsize the stairs were killing us both and the kids were at us for ages to be realistic, so it was time to look at some kind of options regardless. I don’t remember how I heard about this but anyway I thought I’d just call them to ask a few questions first and we chatted for ages, they were really friendly and helpful it opened my eyes to things I had no idea about at all that I have to say was different to what I thought anyway it took a while but we narrowed it down to a few and we pitched the one that suited us and you wouldn’t believe it 6 months later we are happy living in our new community and yes we should have gotten the real information not hearsay…so you never say never is all we can say is I’m glad I made that call.

Our whole family was so confused, and we wasted so much time collecting brochures the truth is there is so some many different options and offers out there – retirement villages certainly aren’t all the same. Hey, they’re all very nice as they should be for the price but they’re also very, very different…we were going around in circles and Mum and Dad were so anxious and totally confused that we almost gave up and decided not to move them because it was just too hard to compare them all totally independently, we all know the salespeople’s job is to convince us to buy theirs. This service was great, they take the time to really understand what we all really needed and didn’t need, it just took all that stress away, and it was so helpful for us.

We first heard about this from a friend who they had helped it seemed to just make sense, they really helped us focus on what type of village was best for us and you know it became clear that the ones we liked really weren’t the best ones for us in the long run, they took away all the confusing information we had and made it easy, they got us a villa that’s just perfect for us and can relax, so we’re really happy.

Their genuine and just helpful, that’s rare today in itself they listen and don’t talk crap and told us a list of places that would suit us and why others wouldn’t, then they cut it down to what were the best ones for me now my wife passed, money was tight and they worked hard to save me around $12,000 getting me in there that’s a lot of money, so then I could get some new furniture really for free, I truly believe they had my best interest at heart, rather than just trying to sell us a unit, there was no pressure at all, so why not get their help .
