Reviewing an aged care provider is a great way to share your thoughts. But please follow the policies listed below when writing a review.

We will remove content that violates any of the policies listed below:

  • Conflict of interest: Reviews are most valuable when they are honest and unbiased. Please do not review your own aged care service or that of a competitor.
  • Off-topic reviews: Do not post reviews based on a third party experience, they must be your own. Our reviews are not a forum for general political or social commentary or personal rants.
  • Impersonation: Do not post reviews on behalf of other people or misrepresent your identity or connection with the aged care provider you are reviewing.
  • Language: Do not use offensive, profane, or obscene language. We will remove reviews that represent personal attacks.
  • Personal and confidential information: Do not post reviews that contain the personal and confidential information of another person.
  • Spam Content: Please no spam. Reviews should be a genuine reflection of your experience with an aged care provider. Do not include promotional content or advertising in any form. Duplicate material will not be accepted.
  • Telephone Numbers and Web Links: To prevent adverts and spam, we do not permit phone numbers or web links.
  • Hate Speech: We do not allow reviews that advocate against people based on their ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or age.
  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing. Alternatively you can submit a complaint via the Government’s Aged Care Complaints Scheme.

Someone at bowls told us about this new comparison service that sounded pretty good when we had a look it was certainly different to all the other services we have seen, the others there all just advertising sites like realestate.com.au but for retirement villages that just prompted particular villages just there to sell you a units, they don’t give you much help or advice, this compare service is really needed to help seniors like us, it’s well done

It was a breath of fresh air to have someone who offered to help us and to actually save us money, they gave the pros and cons about all the different villages in simple plain English that was half the battle at these villages, there’s was so much information to take in and understand. They all seem the same on the surface but they’re not. This comparison service helped us all the way and saved us so much time driving about and then having to go through the same sales talks as the last one and they only tell you all the good stories anyway and don’t always tell you all the things we should know that we didn’t think of at the time, We’d rather know it all upfront because if you don’t it will cost you. We’ve told a few friends to use this service now, it makes a big difference.

Their genuine and just helpful, that’s rare today in itself they listen and don’t talk crap and told us a list of places that would suit us and why others wouldn’t, then they cut it down to what were the best ones for me now my wife passed, money was tight and they worked hard to save me around $12,000 getting me in there that’s a lot of money, so then I could get some new furniture really for free, I truly believe they had my best interest at heart, rather than just trying to sell us a unit, there was no pressure at all, so why not get their help.
