If you are frail and elderly and require a coordinated care approach to enable you to continue to live in your own home, we offer a range of government-funded Home Care Packages.
Astley Care’s Package Coordinator will arrange a home visit and work with you to develop a support plan based on your needs and goals. The plan will be designed to provide you with support that focuses on the things you can’t do yourself and may include services like assistance with bathing, dressing, basic housework, meal preparation, transport, socialisation, and respite care.
Please feel free to call us today to discuss how an Astley Care Home Care Package will help you live a better life.

At Astley Care’s recent frontline meeting, the team explored a topic that is often overlooked but holds profound implications for individuals and society alike: ageism. As staff discussed the language we use and the perceptions we hold about ageing, it became clear just how rarely this issue is addressed in everyday life - unless one works in aged care or has personally experienced age-based discrimination.
As we observe Men’s Mental Health Week, it’s a timely opportunity to reflect on the profound role mental wellness plays in shaping our lives, our workplaces, and our communities. This month, the Astley Care team engaged in a powerful training session on Trauma-Informed Care—an experience that deepened our understanding of how trauma affects mental health and how we can respond with empathy and intention.
This Mother’s Day, Astley Care is celebrating more than just family — they’re celebrating legacy. Across Astley Care’s services, one of the most heartwarming sights is the presence of mothers and daughters working side by side. These family connections are more than personal bonds — they’re shaping the future of care.
