on Friday, August 11, 2023

Change is a natural part of life, but for some, it can be a daunting prospect. Admitting that they need assistance can be seen as a sign of weakness or a loss of independence, and the fear of the unknown can be overwhelming.

Promoting Positive Mental Health in Ageing

on Tuesday, August 1, 2023

As we age, our mental health plays a crucial role in maintaining overall wellbeing and a high quality of life. Unfortunately, mental health issues are not uncommon among older adults, affecting nearly 7 out of 10 Australians aged 65 and above. Conditions like depression, anxiety, and psychological distress can lead to social isolation, loneliness, and physical pain, significantly compromising the enjoyment of life.
