Mercy Place Colac resident Max Jackson, who is fighting Motor Neurone Disease, drew a crowd of locals and donors to a recent ‘Big Freeze’ fundraiser at the home. Along with some Mercy Place staff members, a member of his own family and some local radio personalities, Max was the focus of attention at an ‘Ice Bucket’ challenge which kicked off mid-morning.
96-year-old Mary Johnson is a Christmas enthusiast and her love for decorating during the festive season has remained strong while living at Arcare Parkwood. Throughout the year she collects decorations to create amazing creations each year. She loves to decorate based on a different theme each year and every year her room looks fantastic.

Having both moved into Regis Fawkner in June this year, Wendy decided to introduce herself to Pina whose room was close by.
