SINGLE ROOM with private ensuite, that has been designed to maximise safety and independence. Contemporary designed rooms containing quality furniture, fittings and equipment with some rooms providing a wall-mounted flat screen TV. Residents enjoy ample of natural light with views of either outdoor gardens or internal courtyards. Room size 14m2-16m2.

The Mercy Health Foundation is a vital force in enriching the lives of older Australians within Mercy Health aged care communities. By collaborating with donors and partners, the Foundation raises essential funds that directly support the health and aged care services across Mercy Health facilities.
Mercy Health residential aged care homes are full of amazing people with incredible stories but Les Trigg, a resident at regional Victoria’s Mercy Place Colac, has a story that’s hard to top. This Thursday “Trigger”, as he is known by those closest to him, turns 102. He will be joined by wife Pam but last Friday he received an early gift.
Mercy Place Colac resident Max Jackson, who is fighting Motor Neurone Disease, drew a crowd of locals and donors to a recent ‘Big Freeze’ fundraiser at the home. Along with some Mercy Place staff members, a member of his own family and some local radio personalities, Max was the focus of attention at an ‘Ice Bucket’ challenge which kicked off mid-morning.
This November, various Mercy Health residential aged care homes are paying respect and tribute to those who have fought for their country this Remembrance Day. Mercy residents commemorated Remembrance Day with services across Victoria and New South Wales.
Once an Olympian always an Olympian, proudly remarked Mercy Place aged care resident Bob Joyce as he set foot on the Melbourne Cricket Ground arena on Wednesday, 65 years after running in the 110m hurdles event at the 1956 Olympic Games.
