The Mayflower Group is a leading not-for-profit provider of residential aged care, home care and independent seniors living options with services in Brighton, Reservoir, and Pascoe Vale. The organisation has an enviable history of more than 50 years of providing responsive and innovative services that enhance independence, wellbeing and lifestyle.

Residential Aged Care

Through our residential aged care services in Brighton, Reservoir, and Pascoe Vale, we are committed to providing holistic care options that meet the needs of our residents, and their families, in relation to individual clinical, physical, social, spiritual and emotional support. Ultimately, our aim is to maintain the independence, lifestyle and social relationships of our residents in a secure and harmonious environment.

At Mayflower we consult with every new resident and their family representative to develop an individually tailored Care Plan that meets needs and wishes of that resident. This Care Plan is monitored and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that Mayflower responds to any changes in health status or requirements.

Home Care

Supporting and maintaining quality of life and independence for seniors living at home is an essential service option. The Mayflower Group works in partnership with clients to achieve this objective through our Home Care Program.

A home care package provides a coordinated package of services tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. At Mayflower, we offer case managed and self managed home care packages.

The services available include assistance with:

  • Personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Meal preparation
  • Housekeeping such as laundry, ironing, cleaning, gardening and simple maintenance
  • Transport to and from appointments, social outings and shopping

While we tailor our services to meet individual client needs and goals, we are also there to support those at home caring for the clients.

We can also support clients with general companionship and enabling clients to remain in touch with their social networks.
