Susan became a temporary resident in November 2018 following a very serious illness which left her bedridden. Thanks to the amazing staff who worked very hard Susan was up and about within a few short months., She needed more help with daily living than I was able to give her myself at home so we decided she would become a permanent resident.. We regularly go out for a drive in the car and although she is a bit slow in moving around she enjoys attending some of the in house activities. We recommend Calvary and its wonderful staff to anyone who is considering aged care.
Three years on...Hard to believe but three years has disappeared on by. Time for an update review. Some of the lovely staff have moved on to be replaced with more lovely staff. We often go away in our camper and we know the folks are well looked after. We know we will get a phone call if something is awry, ie when one falls over. We are truly blessed that Heather and her team keep everything running like clockwork. Whilst we are away we rarely might ask for a special something to be done for the folks. Whatever we ask, however hard or simple it is done straight away. The Diversional Therapists, under the leadership of Angela, are excellent and very caring. Food looks delicious and parents are happy with the quality. What more could you want? Nothing.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We'll be sure to pass them onto Heather and the team at Noosa.
Both parents were placed into this lovely facility in early April 2016. We of course had concerns as to how they would cope, how we would cope and how they would settle. We are blessed with parent's with a great attitude and a winning smile. That was the first plus. The next plus is that we have placed them in a home they are comfortable and happy in. The staff are excellent and the home caring and loving. They have activities every day lots of outings. Right now the home is having renovations completed we hope, with these, that there will be room for the folks to go outside and sit in the sunshine or under a tree. At the moment there is really no where for them to sit. They have settled well and we know they are safe and well cared for.
Thank you for your kind words... beautiful people deserve the best in care. Paula
