Part of The Salvation Army Aged Care

Gill Waminda Aged Care Centre is an inclusive and supportive community located just 5 minutes drive away from the heart of Goulburn town centre.

Over time we have built a credible reputation in the community as an organisation that genuinely cares for others in need without discrimination, regardless of their personal, financial and medical circumstances.

You’re sure to feel right at home!

Gill Waminda Aged Care Centre offers a range of single and twin rooms with en suites and sunny, external views. All rooms have a 24-hour emergency call system for added peace of mind.

Ladies can get pampered in the hair dressing salon while the gents have their own barber shop. Residents can enjoy some quiet time in the gardens or the chapel, while for the social butterflies, we have regular bus tours and community projects with the local schools and volunteer groups well as various recreational activities at the Centre.

Our staff and chaplains go beyond the clinical to cater for the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of our residents. We also recognise the importance of family and friends and encourage them to be an active part of our community. Our dedicated family area allows families to spend quality time, celebrate special occasions with their loved one, while the kids entertain themselves in the kids play area.

A Life Transformed

on Wednesday, February 19, 2025

“Life before I came in here was one hell of a mess,” tells Gill Waminda Aged Care Centre resident and NDIS client, Brian. “It was my own fault to let it get that way, but it got that far, and I couldn’t do anything about it.” Today, five years since he first arrived at the Centre, his NDIS Support Worker, Amy, proudly reflects of Brian’s transformation. “Brian has been fully rehabilitated in the five years he’s been here,” she says. “He is very proud of the man he is today.”
