Our home is located on Bayswater Road, not too far from Eastlink, with Ringwood, Bayswater and the local Eastland shopping centres all located nearby, providing an extensive range of shops, cafes, entertainment and essential services.
Maroondah Hospital is also only a short distance away, should the need arise. Public transport will bring you right to our doorstep, with trains to Bayswater station and the connecting 664 bus service.
Ferndale offers single rooms with ensuites and master suites for couples, all with ample space for personal furnishings and keepsakes. A choice of several room types enables residents to select the accommodation that meets their needs and budget.
Ferndale Gardens is part of the Homestyle Aged Care group which has been providing residential care homes and services in greater Melbourne and Geelong offering our core philosophy of promoting independence while fostering a caring environment for each individual for over 30 years. Our professional and dedicated nursing team are here 24 hours a day providing clinical care that supports independence and freedom of choice. Our lifestyle team operate a full 7-day innovative program providing a range of stimulating and engaging activities to maintain social engagement.
Ferndale Gardens is home to our award-winning rehabilitation program provided by Concentric Healthcare Services. Our specially designed gym and physiotherapy rooms help individuals achieve desired outcomes, socialize and more importantly, is proven to maintain physical strength, balance and mobility to increase functionality. Concentric’s rehabilitation packages are tailored to each individual resident through assessments, one-on-one and group classes, and quarterly case conferences with families.

My mother is extremely happy at ferndale gardens ,she is treated with dignity and compassion,she expresses the longer she is in the facility the more she likes it ,the staff are wonderful,kind professional,the activities are amazing,and are created for all to enjoy not only a select few,the facility is very clean ,mum says the food is wonderful,we are a family of five and are all extremely happy with ferndale gardens,and mums wellbeing

Eating healthy nutritious meals are important for everyone, but it is not always possible to make healthy food choices. Whilst there is a huge range of ready-made microwavable meals available at the Supermarket, these can often be high in salt, sugar, fat & calories.
A better option is to meal plan ahead or bulk cook and freeze meals.
