Wisteria is a private and safe area at Palm Lake Care Bargara specially designed for dementia sufferers who may have wandering tendencies. Movement is encouraged, giving residents freedom throughout their private suites, communal lounges, dining areas and dedicated gardens. Dementia can take many different forms, and our specialist team of dementia trained experts understand how to support and focus on what people can do, rather than what they can’t, through empowerment, socialisation and interaction.

Most days you will find residents happily enjoying a little sun and the beachside breezes. Fully electric beds are also a feature of our caring community, ensuring a good night’s sleep by letting a carer quietly reposition a sleeping resident without disturbing them.
