This is our resident’s home, and where possible we want them to enjoy the same freedom of movement you have walking around your home between bedroom to dining, living, lounge and outdoor areas. Our Deception Bay Community offers 24 hour residential, respite, secure dementia and palliative care in a relaxed environment. We believe that all our residents deserve respect, consideration and to be heard, and our most important role is to make a positive difference in their lives. This is our residents’ home, and we strive to ensure they have a full and comfortable life, no matter what their health needs are.

Palm Lake Care Deception Bay's Memory Support Harmony is a private and safe area at Deception Bay specially designed for dementia sufferers who may have wandering tendencies. Movement is encouraged, giving residents freedom throughout their private suites, communal lounges, dining areas and dedicated gardens. Dementia can take many different forms, and our specialist team of dementia trained experts understand how to support and focus on what people can do, rather than what they can’t, through empowerment, socialisation and interaction.
