Pennwood Village offers quality nursing care, with a European flair and is run by the Serbian Community Welfare Association of SA Inc. 

Pennwood Village has been opened since 1993 and is committed to providing cultural, spiritual and linguistic needs of the Serbian Community. Our multicultural facility provides low care for 40 residents requiring both high and low care services. 

Location

We have 6 separate houses which all contain ten spacious units. The houses are set around a garden plus an administration building with catering and dining facilities plus a function room. 

Each unit include a large communal lounge and dining room offering serenity, privacy and a home-like environment. 

Care Services

Our personal care staff will assist residents with the following as required:

  • Dressing, Showering, Bathing, Grooming, Mobility & Transfers
  • Special diets, Eating/drinking
  • Medication management and Rehabilitation support
  • Toileting and management of social continence (sanitary aids may cost extra)
  • Medical treatments and procedures be qualified personal Support Services for residents suffering from cognitive impairment and confusion
Other Services
  • Telephone port in each suite
  • Some furniture provided if required. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishing with homely sentimental items
  • Chemist services
  • Hairdressing services
  • Range of food with a European flair, particularly Serbian cuisine all prepared in the Central Kitchen
  • Resident meet-ups on a monthly basis
  • Events and Special Feast Days
  • Television points are available in all rooms

Home and Community Care  

We are able to provide support directly to your home, to help with things such as house cleaning, respite for carers, preparing meals, transport to appointments, shopping assistance and other services which can be negotiated with Pennwood Village Home Care.

Our Home and Community Care services are currently provided on a user pays/private fees basis.
