Regis Kingswood is a 100 bed state-of-the-art aged care home. Idyllically located around the corner from the Soldiers Memorial Gardens and strolling distance to Mitcham Shopping Centre, Regis Kingswood is in a quiet residential street six kilometres from Adelaide’s CBD and ten kilometres from the beach.
Exuding old world charm, Regis has restored the building to preserve Kingswood’s heritage listing, originally built as Harling House in 1861. The house was first owned by the Phillipson family who were one of the earliest settlers in the Kingswood area. The restored features include lofty ceilings giving a sense of space, a sweeping staircase with detailed mahogany finishes, expansive lawns and an old world feeling of peace and tranquillity. Our café is often buzzing with residents and families - many a friendship begins with a chat and a cappuccino.

In February, Regis Aged Care celebrated Carnival Day across all their aged care residences. The events were a huge success and brought joy and excitement to the residents, employees, and the wider community. Two of the residences in South Australia, Regis Kingswood and Regis Marleston, hosted unique and memorable events that showcased the best of the community spirit.
Needles and yarn have made a comeback and aren’t going out of style any time soon! Knitting Group is a weekly activity at local aged care residence, Regis Kingswood, bringing residents and employees together to create something they can be proud of.
Residents at Regis Nedlands woke up to the sound of music as one of the resident’s granddaughters surprised the home by performing below their balcony. Community initiatives like this really make a huge difference during these challenging times.
