My mother has now been living at ABVC Gardens for almost 3 years. It is a wonderful facility - furnishings and bright interior design are most attractive and meals are excellent. The staff are outstanding. My mother receives such loving care by truly dedicated, patient and compassionate staff at every level. I am so grateful to them. The facility could be improved with the addition of an accessible user friendly garden.
What a wonderful Aged Care Facility. It is only a few months old and the building and facilities are beautifully designed. Fresh spacious living and dining areas with lovely artworks and soft furnishings provide a welcoming environment. I could never speak too highly of the staff. Management, office, catering and nursing staff are outstanding. My parents say "They ask all the time if there is anything more they can do for us". A newly arrived gentleman told me last week "They can't do enough for us". My father's complex medical needs have been carefully monitored by the nursing staff and this week a Speech Therapist was consulted to assess his swallowing difficulties. The amazing recreation Officer Michell Mcverry has provided wonderful activities and excursions which have been sensitively designed to help my mother adjust to her new home. The kindness and care have been exceptional. Thank you from all our family.
My parents have now been at this wonderful Residence for 7 weeks. Yes, the building and facilities are luxurious and beautifully designed but the most valuable asset is the amazing staff. Both my parents say "The staff can't do enough for us" and exactly the same words were used by the gentleman resident of just two weeks that I met this morning. Everyone from Catering to Nursing staff are warm and wonderful. My mother is blossoming under the nurturing of the nursing and physiotherapy care. Today I spent the morning laughing and singing with my parents while watching dynamic entertainers Cath and Rob dancing and singing for us. A joy to see them so happy. Heartfelt thanks to wonderful Activities Officer Michelle Byrnes for the incredible job you are doing. Your loving enthusiasm and hard work brings much joy. To be a Resident at this facility is a privilege.
