Part of Ryman Healthcare

In Ryman villages, you’ll find vibrant communities where residents thrive.

Along with independent and assisted living, Nellie Melba Village offers a range of care options to support you. These include residential aged care (low care and high care), specialist dementia care, and respite care in our state-of-the-art care centre.

Nellie Melba Village is a thriving retirement community located in the vibrant suburb of Wheelers Hill.

Care is at the heart of everything we do. Our residents receive the best of clinical care from our expert teams.

Our spacious care rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom have call bells with 24/7 monitoring for added security.

With the help of our electronic care app, myRyman care, we  develop a detailed plan of care with you and your family. The care plan includes everything you need and want – right down to how you like your cup of tea.

Our residents look forward to mealtimes because the food tastes great – and it’s nutritious, with flavoursome meals prepared fresh on site by our village chefs. The Delicious menu offers something to tempt all tastebuds, with good old-fashioned home-cooked meals as well as some more exotic dishes.

We're passionate about creating thriving communities where connection and wellbeing are a priority. There are plenty of activities and outings for residents to choose from, and we encourage you to make the most of the care centre amenities.

When people visit our care centres, they often tell us that they feel that difference. It’s in the way our residents and care teams interact, their genuine affinity and connection with one another. We’re a community that cares.

It’s something to be experienced so we invite you to visit and talk to our team. Better still, talk to our residents and their families – they’re the experts!
