Boyne Russell House focuses on delivering personalised care with a professional and compassionate team available around the clock to assist with daily living activities, medical needs, and emotional support.

Our facility was named after long-term Coburg resident and Mayoress, Dorothy Impey. Dorothy, with ladies from the Coburg Benevolent Society, commenced a Meals on Wheels service for the elderly people in the area. Through this work she saw a need for hostel-type accommodation.

The Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) is a prominent Australian non-profit organisation dedicated to addressing social injustice and poverty. Established in the 1930s, BSL works to create a more equitable society through various programs and services that support individuals and communities.

Western Gardens in Sunshine accommodates 90 people with high or low care needs, as well as ageing in place for those who want to stay in one space as their care levels change over time. Kororoit Creek, the local Greek Orthodox community and shops are all nearby.

Rooms are available in single or double configurations with ensuites. There are 3 lounge rooms, dining room and a large function room which is available for private family gatherings, meetings and spiritual worship. Outside we have 5 courtyards.
