In 1966, Southern Cross Care WA, formerly known as Southern Cross Homes, was created by the Order of the Knights of the Southern Cross, who were committed to improving the lives of their fellow West Australians.

Today, more than 50 years later, SCCWA is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation contributing to social, health and economic development in WA. We do this by enabling the delivery of integrated services in our community for the increasingly complex health, care and accommodation needs of our aging population and those living with mental illness.

Our dedicated and passionate team of around 900 employees and 170 volunteers deliver care and services to over 3000 West Australians across our residential, retirement village, mental health, community housing and home care portfolio.

Located in East Perth close to the heart of Perth’s CBD and situated under a serene canopy of ancient Morton Bay Fig trees with views of Queens Gardens, it’s difficult not to feel relaxed at Archbishop Goody. This residence is home to only 40 people, it’s very private and welcoming and easy to make it feel like your home.

Aegis Sandstrom, amidst the stately federation homes of Mt Lawley. Sandstrom was the first aged care residence in Western Australia to be granted Extra Services – a-la-carte meals on quality china, fine linen, silver cutlery, choice of wines and deluxe built-in furniture.

Aegis Lincoln Park is a 46 bed low level care facility, including ageing in place. Lincoln Park also provides respite care and a comprehensive diversional therapy program. Accommodation at Aegis Lincoln Park comprises of 32 single bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities and 14 single bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Aegis TCP Sandstrom Transitional Care Program provides the highest standard of care, therapy and allied health services. A social worker is available to assist in assessing CAP options and for assisting families to find a permanent place of residence.

Catholic Homes Sister Mary Glowrey is a brand new, state-of-the-art residential aged care home located in Belmont, Western Australia. The home provides relaxed, riverside living for 96 residents, with a range of care types catered for including ageing-in-place, dementia care and palliative care.
