AQ offers compassionate assistance, support, and specialised care to keep you actively and socially engaged within your local community. We have proudly operated our 61-bed secure residence since 2012. Conveniently located, AQ Windsor Aged Care Services is within easy access to inner city Brisbane.
AQ Windsor Aged Care Services features single or shared rooms with ensuites supporting ageing-in-place across two separate cottages Palmer and Thorne. Both cottages that feature classic, refined, and cosy décor capturing the essence of home life making residents feel as comfortable as possible. Sun-protected entertainment areas are accessible to residents from both cottages for eating, relaxing, or connecting with family and friends.
Everyday familiar activities are incorporated into our unique lifestyle program that offers a range of group and individual activities for residents to choose from including cooking, music programs, art appreciation, art classes, and flexibility and fitness sessions. These are provided in addition to our regular shopping and dining trips, and happy hours.
AQ also provides wellness and reablement programs and allied health services. Our one-on-one and group services are tailored to meet your individual needs and provide practical knowledge, skills, treatment, and programs.
All residents benefit from our staff’s knowledge, skills, and expertise in dementia care. AQ provides regular training to ensure skills are maintained and the care provided reflects our underlying philosophy valuing our individual residents’ choices. A registered nurse is on site 24/7 to support complex care and medical needs of residents as needed.

SHARED ROOM - The shared ensuited rooms are set with a classic and traditional décor and able to provide secure dementia care. Rooms are bright and airy with large picture windows allowing natural light and ventilation and views of the surrounding garden or community. Bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and an easy access toilet for independence. Accommodation comes with height adjustable beds, bedside table, built in wardrobe, heating and cooling systems, homestyle cooking, and 24-hour care staff. Residents are encouraged to tailor their rooms with precious and treasured keepsakes ensuring memories and experiences are maximised.
