At Toowoomba Community Support Services, we provide compassionate and flexible aged care services across the Darling Downs region, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you're seeking support to remain independent at home or need centre-based respite, our personalised approach ensures care that’s safe, reliable, and suited to your individual needs.
We offer a wide range of services, including:
Short-term, overnight, and emergency respite care
In-home aged care and personal care support
Home care packages (tailored through ACAT assessment)
Secure dementia care and carer respite
Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and medication management
Social support and participation in local Toowoomba and Darling Downs clubs and events
Domestic assistance, gardening, and general maintenance
Wellness and rehabilitation programs
Funded allied health services, such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, and speech therapy
New Music Therapy to enhance wellbeing
Our respite services are available hourly or daily, and include centre-based, cottage, flexible, and in-home options. Clients engage in wellness activities, small group outings, and community events tailored to their interests—while carers enjoy a well-earned break.
Our domestic assistance supports clients in maintaining independence at home with tasks like cleaning, cooking, and general upkeep. For those eligible under the Commonwealth Home Support Program or Community Care Services Queensland, we also provide basic home maintenance, including garden care, rubbish removal, and minor repairs.
Supporting carers is a priority. We offer Carer Support Group Meetings, educational resources, phone groups, and a Dementia Help Line, creating a strong network of support and guidance.
Referrals are welcome from family, friends, healthcare professionals, and the wider community.
