Charingfield is a boutique aged care community tucked away in a quiet oasis just off Bronte Rd in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Close to Bondi, Bronte and Tamarama beaches, and near Centennial Park and Queens Park, Charingfield has excellent proximity to all that this much-loved part of Sydney offers.
Here, we focus on supporting each resident to live their way, with grace and dignity.
Our small houses feel like homes, our carers feel like family and our award-winning outdoor spaces provide the simple pleasures of a backyard. Just like home, residents can create their own rewarding routine, enjoy a flexible approach to home-made meals, and continue to maintain valuable connections with family, friends and the wider community. Most importantly, residents feel secure knowing their privacy is respected, their independence is supported and their unique care needs are our highest priority.
Catering for both permanent residents and short-term respite guests, we offer generously sized suites and studio apartments each featuring an ensuite and balcony. One of our five small houses is dedicated to caring for residents with advanced memory care needs.

Each room has a telephone connection, an emergency call system and most feature a kitchenette. Rooms come furnished with a bed, bedside table and armchair, and there is ample space for personal belongings.

Our air-conditioned studio apartments are large enough to accommodate lounge and dining furniture. They include a built-in robe, ensuite, telephone and emergency call system and most feature a kitchenette. The studio apartments located on the ground floor of Edmund House enjoy access to a large garden terrace. The studio apartments located on the top floor of Edmund House enjoy a large balcony, and open onto a landscaped internal atrium. Rooms come furnished with a bed, bedside table and armchair and there is plenty of space for personal belongings.
