Ibis Care Mortdale - Ferndale Gardens provides high quality residential aged care for 136 residents in a comfortable and welcoming home-like environment.

Accommodation is offered in spacious single bedrooms with a private ensuite or shared rooms (two beds) with an ensuite. Each bedroom includes a bed, built-in wardrobe, a display unit, comfortable reading chair and reverse cycle air-conditioning. Residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms with photos, decorations and other mementoes.

A secure wing provides additional care and support for those residents living with dementia.

Care plans are individually tailored for each resident. Care staff are on-site 24/7 to ensure the well-being of residents.  

Meals are prepared fresh on-site every day and are served in one of the elegant and cosy dining rooms. Several comfortable and well-appointed communal sitting and lounge areas are located throughout the home.

Residents can also enjoy spending time in the beautiful gardens where they can take a leisurely stroll or sit and relax in the sunshine.

A beautiful café is located on the ground floor of the building, where residents can relax and spend time with visiting family and friends.

My mother has been a resident of Ferndale Gardens Aged Care Facility for more than 12months. I find the staff at Ferndale Gardens to be friendly, helpful and respectful. Management Open Door Policy is very convenient for family members to discuss their loved ones needs. The Café is a very positive aspect of the Facility which feels like a home away from home. My mother enjoys the activities provided for the residents which are varied and consistent. The food at Ferndale Gardens meets that of the Standard of a Five Star hotel. My mother has been a resident at Ferndale Gardens for 6 years. In this time she has enjoyed good health due to tremendous care she receives from the staff. The care she receives covers her health, fitness, mental health and emotional support. The staff become have become her family. It is a great relief to us that our mother is so well cared for. There is nothing too big or too small that Ferndale Gardens can't do from the nursing staff to management.

Our mum has been residing in Ferndale Gardens since 2013. We have been very grateful with the staff and care she has received. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff for their kindness, care and friendship towards our mum and of all her daughters. The staff have always shown patience and genuine concern for mum's emotional and physical needs. Mum is very happy here which makes us happy. Mum loves going on the bus trips, has made lots of friends here. The cafe provides a great atmosphere, good foods and coffee. The residence is always clean and mum has not complained about the food.
