Medical & Aged Care Group Northern Gardens is located in the heart of Coburg and provides care and accommodation for 60 residents.
Qualified staff at Northern Gardens have a strong commitment to caring for each resident on a daily basis. Residents will enjoy the home-like feel of Northern Gardens. Accommodation is provided in large single bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Large shared rooms are available for couple’s accommodation. Residents are encouraged to bring along items from home to decorate their rooms.
Residents and their families can spend regular time together on the sun-filled balcony or in the quiet gardens and BBQ area.
All residents have access to a stimulating Lifestyle & Leisure program. The program is designed to cater for individual needs and aims to preserve the privacy, dignity, skills, memory and independence for residents.

With a collective 101 years of service, this dedicated group of individuals has been the heart and soul of the facility, bringing joy, comfort, and companionship to countless residents over the years.
Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) residents, families and staff have donated toys, groceries, toiletries, Christmas treats, fund raising & baking to the MACG 2022 Christmas Giving Trees.
Residents and staff at Medical & Aged Care Group's Northern Gardens aged care home have been enjoying daily gardening sessions, growing a beautiful selection of veggies, succulents and flowers.
During the first lockdown, Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) residents and staff made and photographed a series of heartfelt messages to exchange with families and friends. Families joined in and emailed their return messages; this saw a wonderful increase in emailed communication & photos shared between residents and families.
Medical & Aged Care Group Northern Gardens staff and residents recently enjoyed their visit from Indie the Australian Shepherd who regularly attends the home bringing lots of smiles and laughs with her.Â
