First established in 1997, with several extensions and renovations later, Anzac Lodge now offers 120 residential aged care beds comprised of single rooms with private ensuite as well as some twin share rooms to cater for couples. Anzac Lodge is fully accredited and strives to care for each resident as though they were their own loved one. Being a small aged care provider, residents are not treated just like another number.


Doutta Galla Lynch’s Bridge provides quality aged care and accommodation, surrounded by beautiful open spaces and grand peppercorn trees in the heart of Kensington. The residence is designed with wellbeing in mind, with tranquil outdoor spaces and comfortable sitting areas throughout for all to enjoy.


Our facility was named after long-term Coburg resident and Mayoress, Dorothy Impey. Dorothy, with ladies from the Coburg Benevolent Society, commenced a Meals on Wheels service for the elderly people in the area. Through this work she saw a need for hostel-type accommodation.
