Mercy Health is a Catholic not-for-profit provider of care, founded by the Sisters of Mercy and grounded in a 2,000-year tradition of caring for those in need. Sacred Heart Mission in Victoria stands as a beacon of hope and compassion, dedicated to serving and supporting vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness, social isolation, and disadvantage. Since its establishment in 1982, the mission has been at the forefront of providing essential services and programs aimed at addressing the root causes of homelessness and supporting individuals on their journey towards stability and empowerment. From meals and accommodation to healthcare, social support, and employment opportunities, Sacred Heart Mission offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community.

Residents live in one of four "houses", each with their own dining and living room, and surrounded by leafy courtyards. The houses are linked by an internal streetscape featuring a central mall with cathedral glass ceilings, kiosk, library and hair and beauty salon to provide an engaging social lifestyle.
