Social Support Groups (centre based)

Anglicare offers social support groups at Jannali and Malabar providing Centre based day care specific for people with Dementia, the social groups offer recreational activities and outings for older people, designed to restore, maintain and support independent living through social interaction in a centre based environment providing respite for their carer, providing a person centred environment and approach.

Personal Care

Provides a personal care service to people e.g. shower, bed bath, sponging, assisting with exercises, prompting with medication.

Flexible respite

In Home Respite, assistance with personal care, assistance to maintain mobility , social activities, monitoring medication ( Webster Pack only ) ,Meals ( preparation and assistance) ,assistance with light household tasks, introduction to social support groups, memory activities, assistance with transport to and from medical  appointments as required & within the local area )

Allied Health and Therapy Services

We provide a professional podiatry 'in home' service in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas, as well as a fully equipped clinic in Jannali. Our podiatrists will assess your health and provide excellent care for your feet. We can soothe your pain and remove bunions, corns, calluses and hardened nails. Anglicare does not require a doctor's referral.

Anglicare Home Care Packages assists older people to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible. Anglicare offers choice and flexibility in the way care and services are provided under the Consumer Directed Care model.

Anglicare support staff seek to be caring, kind patient and respectful in order to enhance and support all elements of life.

  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing.
