The Chinese Community Social Services Centre Inc. (CCSSCI) offers Community Care Packages in the Eastern Region, tailored to meet the unique needs of Chinese-speaking seniors. These packages provide comprehensive in-home care services designed to support elderly individuals in maintaining their independence while living comfortably in their own homes. The services include personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and social support, all delivered by trained, bilingual staff who understand the cultural and linguistic needs of the Chinese community.

The mecwacare Barry Fenton Centre (formerly known as Bowen Street Centre) in Malvern East offers Planned Activity Groups, strength training, podiatry, day trips, activities for people with acquired brain injuries and a dementia support program. Services are offered to people over 65 years of age or who have a disability and are living in the City of Stonnington.

The broad spectrum of services mecwacare provides enables our clients to receive consistent high-quality care as their needs change. We support our clients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, and some of our clients routinely transition from their own homes to our residential-care facilities. This provides continuity of care and maintains relationships between the client, their family and mecwacare staff.
