Bethanie Gwelup is designed specifically to provide care for people who need 24 hour care. There is separate accommodation for those who require special care and consideration due to their dementia status.
Each room within the two-storey aged care facility is fitted out with all the latest modern conveniences and has been specially designed to reflect a bedroom, with an on-suite bathroom, wall mounted TV and ample storage giving less of a clinical feel.
An inviting café area allows family to visit for coffee and various styles of dining such as a la carte or buffet are set in both large areas and intimate arrangements, giving residents and guests more choice.
The ground floor houses a secure Dementia specific facility with well thought out points of difference – such as each bedroom housing a ‘Memory Box’ on the wall outside. Within the memory box are personal items that belong to the resident – helping them to remember which room is theirs.
