Part of Bethanie
Bethanie Peel’s attractive hostel design features a cluster of builders that are set in tranquil, landscaped gardens. The hostel’s location is very convenient, being just a five minute drive from the Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre.
The Peel hostel has a secure area to safely and securely accommodate residents with dementia or similar and associated conditions. The in-house care services at the hostel are well complemented by a social activity and leisure program for residents.
The Lifestyle
Bethanie Peel hostel caters for residents who need care and assistance on a daily basis to maintain and support their living. Residents receive all their meals, plus room cleaning and laundry services.
There’s support for your personal care, medication and treatment, and it’s good to know that assistance is available 24 hours a day.
There are 50 single rooms here, all with an ensuite bathroom and a wardrobe provided. Each wing or cluster of the hostel has its own comfortable communal facilities. Residents share a spacious lounge, dining room, kitchen (with tea and coffee making facilities) and laundry.
There is also a respite room available on a limited basis. This is for relief that families or carers might require from time to time.

Bethanie, Western Australia’s most recognised not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider is getting into the Christmas Spirit early this year as they hold ‘packing parties’ across five of their sites for Operation Christmas Child.
Recently life for Roy Rimmer has changed dramatically. Gone are the busy creative years of the past, sadly replaced by empty frustrating days where speech and memory are uncertain, and dependence and pain are the norm. That is until Jo Wood, a volunteer classical guitarist at Bethanie Peel came along and sparked a light that seemed close to going out.
Bethanie, Western Australia’s most recognised not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider has recently invested over $5 million towards refurbishments of five of their existing aged care homes. The Elanora, Peel, Joondanna, Illawong and Geneff homes have all been given a makeover as Bethanie develops additional capacity in their existing residential care sector, enhancing the quality and amenity of accommodation for residents.
