We’ve been providing aged care services for more than 30 years throughout South East Queensland. Our commitment is to respect human life and ensure dignity in everything we do - from independent retirement living in our beautiful retirement villages, through low to high level residential aged care. Our Community Services provide in-home support and respite care.

Southern Cross Care (Qld) provides a complete service, from your initial low level needs for support, right through as your needs increase to a high level of care. We always ensure maximum freedom, security and peace of mind for everyone involved.

Retirement Villages

Southern Cross Care (Qld) owns and manages 6 retirement villages spread from Noosa to the Gold Coast and across to Ipswich and Toowoomba. Each village has different geographical and social requirements, as do the residents, so a well managed retirement living operational model is the key to the success of our villages and the happiness of our residents. You will not find happier or more satisfied retirees than those who live in our estates and we are committed to continually deliver contemporary retirement communities which exceed the expectations of the retirees who live there.

Residential Aged Care

Southern Cross Care (Qld) owns and manages 12 residential care facilities spread across South East Queensland. The key to success is our wonderful staff. With low staff turnover continuity of care is ensured for our residents and that is hard to match. Each facility has its own special way of providing a fulfilling and active lifestyle for all residents and specialist care is always on hand when needed.

The commitment to valuing and respecting human life is held by everyone in our organisation and ensures we are a leader in aged care in Australia.

Community Care Services

Southern Cross Care Community Services offer in-home care to those who choose to stay in their own home, are discharged from hospital but need extra care during recouperation or have a permanent disability needing support at home.

Community Care Services are available to clients through Government programs or as a fee paying client. Please note this is NOT just for Aged Care services, Community Care is available to everyone. We will always attempt to accommodate any request for care at home in South East Queensland.

  • Language: Do not use offensive, profane, or obscene language. We will remove reviews that represent personal attacks.
  • Personal and confidential information: Do not post reviews that contain the personal and confidential information of another person.
  • Spam Content: Please no spam. Reviews should be a genuine reflection of your experience with an aged care provider. Do not include promotional content or advertising in any form. Duplicate material will not be accepted.
  • Telephone Numbers and Web Links: To prevent adverts and spam, we do not permit phone numbers or web links.
  • Hate Speech: We do not allow reviews that advocate against people based on their ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or age.
  • Aged Care Reviews is not a complaints system. Reviews must be fair and reasonable. Any defamatory statements reflecting a personal experience that has not yet been taken up with the respective provider will not be accepted. If you have a personal complaint to make about an aged care facility we encourage you to contact your provider directly using the details provided on their listing. Alternatively you can submit a complaint via the Government’s Aged Care Complaints Scheme.
